Soooo with all the left over rattle cans I did some painting :D

Rear wheel wells and muffler/tip are painted black. The wheel wells look much cleaner now and blends great with the wheels and tires. Crappy pics though.

I used the same stuff and after a month or so, it was back to looking pretty gnarly.

This is the hole to be used for relocation of pass. side shock, I think every 1st gen has one in their frame....

& it's exactly the same as the driverside shock mount, the only real challenge is reconfiguring the existing Ubolt/shock plate... but I think I got it dicked out already

Did some wheeling yesterday with some local guys. Learned a lot and had an interesting time.

Had a few mishaps on the way, but we all got out safe with just a broken u-joint, a flat tire, and a winch that needs to be rewired... Haha

Anyways, here are the pics, none of me as I was taking all of these... Haha but I did everything they did, so you get the idea.

    Yeah... Haha

He had his crawl box in med-low when going up that hill and he snapped the u-joint.

Then at some point he had his wife turn on the winch to pull in the slack between him and the 4runner, then it wouldn't shut off and it started dragging the parked 4runner down the hill. The only way we got it to stop was by pulling the positive cable off the battery...

Then after we got it going again the tire came off the bead, so we had to lift the truck, take the spare off the back, all while on the hill. Very interesting to say the least... Haha Had to catch one of the guys taking off the lug nuts because after one broke free he came towards me! Haha
