Guns, bows, quads and welding I inherited from my dad. I'm still noticing a trend of awesomeness among tw members/Tacoma owners.

We had an Oscar- Angry Bettos was her name. She was about a foot long when she died. She was kinda like a dog- I could stick my finger in the tank and pet her. She must have enjoyed it, because she would stay. And I would go "BITE! BITE!" and stick my finger in the tank, and she would latch on, most of the time removing some of my skin/fingernail with her little angry teeth. :) She enjoyed picking up rocks in her mouth and spitting them at the side of the tank, and killed several different fish that we tried putting with her- a tricolor shark (the little guy) 2 PCs, and her husband Burt II, who was a larger Oscar. She would jump out of the tank when she got really mad, and the color red pissed her off.
Angry Bettos when she was still kinda small. One of the few pics I have of her.

Sheesh, nothing but "me, me, me" in this thread. It seems so self centered!

    :p

So, I'm currently a student. Minoring in Computer Science, and majoring in Russian, and German. Grew up speaking Spanish and English, so by the time I finish school in the next year or so I will be able to converse fairly well in 2 extra languages. Hoping to go back to work for Uncle Sam once I graduate. But there's so many things I would like to do in this lifetime that sometimes it just seems like I'll never get the chance to do them. Still, I keep my head up high and keep working for opportunities!

I love interacting people, especially people who speak 3 languages or more. I love learning languages. It's my forte!

I like mountain biking, kayaking, going hiking, being outside really. But the location and current temperature of South/ Central Texas makes a lot of my hobbies not so fun. haha

Hanging out with good people, they seem to be getting more difficult to find now-a-days. :p Unless of course it's a tacomaworld meet!

Sehr cool! Ich habe nur zwei Semestern studiert. Ich will viele Sprache lernen! Was machst du in der Freizeit? Auf Deutsch bitte!

I've been thinking of starting threads for both languages, to post what I've learned, the basic greetings, rules of grammar, so that others can input as well, or maybe learn the basics too. Also post links to helpful websites and such, or youtube videos.

Hey op, I enjoy aquariums as well, I'd like to see some pics of yours when you get a chance. Unfortunately I just moved and haven't had time to get mine up and running.

Awesome! I am about to move also, but i'll put some up. I'm trying to work out the logistics of moving right now.. Moving fish sucks. I added some extra sponge and HOB filters to boost my BB population and combined some tanks to make the move easier and less likely to crash the nitrogen cycle and kill everyone. I have a divider, but my Oscar is so aggressive. He ate one of my BST's yesterday. :(

    Thread bump...

I got rid of my Oscar last weekend. He was going after my loaches which I will not tolerate. Clowns and blue botia loaches are my favorites so far.

Added two awesome peacock bass in there, and my son bought a moray eel.
