Need help. Measured from the center of the wheel to thw bott of the fender on the back and came up at 22 inches. Then measured the center of the wheel to the fender on front ssme thing 22 inches. I dont want to do bilstiens yet waiting until the full lift kit for that. I just want a level ride right now to lift the front up to match the rear. So I am wanting to order the spacers. But cant figure out if I need 2" or 3". I kmow the truck is not level already I can tell just looking at it and in the pic.

I'm confused. If both the front and back measure to 22" then how is the truck not level????

Idk. Look at the pic clearly you can see its not level. However I just pulled in the garage. I measured from the ground this time to the bottom of each fender flare. Front is 34 3/4 rear is 37 1/2. So should I just get 2 inch? Will 1/4 make that much difference

Well of your not ready to go billies. Then a small spacer lift will work just to level it front to back. Check out top gun customz and let them put a small spacer in it to level. You will be alright with a little one in.

well I got clarification from DoorDing. The spacers aren't actually 3" or even 2" they create 2-3" of lift. they are actually about 1 1/2 inch" so they should be fine. Going to order tomorrow morning and then probably spring swap out for the bilsteins after I have ran through these tires.

Yeah he is right but its still the amount of lift that u don't wanna exceed. But u will be fine. I ran a 3" top plate spacer for 2 years and offroaded my truck more then I do now and I had zero problems. Knowing what I know now, I won't recommend one but at the same time, I have person experience with one and my experience involved no problems. Just a stiff ride

I would go with a 2 or less because if not you will be nose high and then wanting to put something in the back to compensate for the nose high.

Your truck sits a little higher than most stock tacomas... Most from center hub to fender are 20-21. They all have a 1-2" rake. So, everything sounds about right. I also ran a 3 inch lift in the front for a while and had no issues. Like doording said, the spacer should physically be half the size of the lift height.

the external clips indicate dana style, but most good driveshaft shops can make it happen. Truck parts specialist out here in memphis is badass at drivehsaft work.

I would hunt a junkyard one possibly if you cant find a good shop.
