    I've been a member for a while although not too active, but I wonder if anyone is interested in my 2004 Tacoma 2.7L 4x4 Extra Cab Automatic. It runs and drives great and everything works as it should, BUT it's got severe frame rot that I missed the service bulletin on. I thought when I brought it in they were doing the service, but it was just the inspection. So no coating and it's my ignorance so not much Toyota can do understandibly. The frame is right at the front leaf spring shackle. It was discovered when I had the exhaust replaced about 3 months ago when it was on the lift. It's my opinon that someone with decent fab skills could have a decent truck for cheap and a weekend of work. Or maybe it's only worth parts. Anyway, if you are interested in more info, please let me know.

    I will try and get some photos of the frame rot when and if it ever stops freakin' raining. It will be hard to display, the worst of it is next to gas tank.

    -205,000 miles, I'm the only owner
    -Truck will need brake work (pulsates)
    -Tires might pass inspection but fronts are pretty severly cambered
    -Transmission runs well but might slip in between gears? It's odd, I can't make it slip, but it seems to do something I don't remember it did in the past? Come drive it.

    I'd sell for $2,000
