    The dog did try and bite the officer when he tried to grab the leash. He saw the dog as a threat and took care of it on a scene that clearly that guy should not have been at. And the way he was acting towards the cop when he could have just got in his car and went on his way. Ignorance is bliss.

    1- PD should have had secured a bigger perimeter

    2- civilian should have stayed at bay

    3- civilian should have secured the dog w/ the windows fully up and doors secured.

    ...the dog was lucky it wasnt shot the first time....the Officer received a threat and eliminated it. Granted the dog didnt know what was going on, the owner is at fault here too.

    Judging from the video it appeared PD gave him several verbal warnings and he failed to comply. The owner also walked in a aggressive manner to PD which failed to help his situation.
