Yes. It turned off the power for a good 30 miles up the freeway and closed the freeway. Fire was around a substation. I saw why they closed the freeway. Hot fire and there was a house with a propane tank in the middle (scorched tank in the lower right corner of the pic). Blurry pic since the bus was moving.

Damn. I'm wondering how many fires we're going to be having around here this summer.

I'm thinking it would be better to increase the fine for throwing a burning object out of a window to a 6mo license suspension. Normally, I'm not the one suggesting that kind of fine but people need to know a cigarette is a fire waiting to happen when it gets tossed out the window-if they don't want to keep stinky butts in the car, quit smoking.

No you are not being unreasonable!! Man that is rediculous for them to expect you guys to buy all that gift. Completely selfish and rude if you ask me. I got hitched a few months back and didn't expect anything from my guys.

You being in the wedding and giving your blessings is supposed to be the gift.

    Seriously.

I was always taught that your presence in the wedding is the present.

Wow. She's really demanding and has no etiquette in regards to you guys. That's awful. How come your buddy doesn't put his foot down?

you guys have cigarettes we have lightning... lol
on the trail run this weekend we were at the top of a hill messing around in a quarry and a quick lightning storm came through. 20 minutes later it cleared up and the sun was back, but looking across to the other hills we could see about a half dozen plumes of rising smoke. Small fires caused by the lightning. Luckily, they smoldered out after 15 minutes.

    I would buy new.

Crazy expensive to drive to Modesto for CV boots when you can get them delivered for less than $50

2wd, you can see a picture and info on this site. http://row52.com/Vehicle/Index/5TEVL52N32Z025982

Why? I got one and it's holding up just fine. Cost me $45 and I got a 1 year warranty on it if it "fails". I'd rather have a OEM cv than some Autozone crap.

I see people buying used all the time.

Thanks Ian, I was looking to get the whole cv axel. I think it's easier to replace. But I may just buy this kit. Good looking out

In Ruben's case, the cost of driving to Modesto negates any savings you might get from buying used in Modesto. So either finding a 3p one or buying from the dealer, you'd come out ahead as far as cost.

You might also want to check Toy Connection in Santa Clara.

Oh yea forgot about them. They are pretty expensive though. I think they wanted like $300 for a stock bumper.

Be honest guys...... I painted my exposed area and behind the grille. But I didn't think it was going to be this glossy. I don't like it too much. But I want your feed back. Yay or nay. I'm thinking of giving it a satin coat.

I think it looks fine. I did my 02 with a satin and it looked too close to the dull stock black they use on the frame and whatnot. the semi-gloss makes it look new and different. I think you should keep it!

Looks good Ruben, sooner or later it will dull out some after some weather outside. I wouldnt waste the money/time to repaint. Plus once you get the bumper on there you wont notice it as much.
