Not true, there's that dude with the 97 who regularly gets 28-30

Plus, over the course of a few years and 30,000 miles tracked, I'm averaging 21.4

    See below in my sig

I finished the rear leaf (Dakar) install, which gives me a now completed OME setup (881/Nitrocharger Sports). In the past 15 days, starting with an oil change, I've replaced two front axles (torn CV boots), re-packed my wheel bearings, replaced and installed an inner axle seal and replaced a drum brake actuator. By far the biggest job was the rear suspension/leaf springs. Took me two days. And truth be told, I don't really have much of a clue as to how to do all this stuff, but I made it work (?!?!?!).

Thanks to TacomaWorld, I have the courage to give it a go.

After about 10,000 miles my UG average mpg is 17.1. Go me.

Nice! I did that not too long ago as well. the rear was definitely difficult. I'll be adding extended shackles soon, so I'm sure ill have nightmares of pry bars and angle grinders lol.
