    My UltraGauge says I'm averaging 19mpg, , 6 cyl./auto tranny/2WD. I drive 80 highway miles a day, and try not to stomp on it if I can avoid it, but I tendo to drive around 80mph, so that brings my mileage down a bit. Manual calculations (trip miles/gallons) puts me at about 17.6 mpg.

    Does the TRD package (which I don't have) INCLUDE the tow hitch, connector, & tranny cooler, or was he confusing it with the TOWING package (which mine does have)?

    Also - if his 6'4" son rode in the back, for 1000 miles, then he did it lying down, across the bench seat - I'm 6'1", and my head hits the roof when I sit in the back. The legroom is there, but definitely not the headroom. I'd say anyone over 5'9" would have a problem.

    And as for easy access to the engine; yeah, the oil filter is in a MUCH better location than it used to be in previous models, but that plastic shroud over the intake and engine...aside from noise reduction, and making it look purty, what function does it really serve?

    Must have really fixed them since '08, I think I was doing 18 bone stock.

    I like how he forgets to mention the safety features.

    Yeah the TRDs come with towing package as standard.

    I'm 5'11" and I can't lay down in the back. If he's sitting, he must be all legs and have the front seat pushed all the way up. My buddy's wife is about that height and she can't drive in the front.

    i wish the US models came with standard block heater :(
