    3" inch lift
    Hey everyone, I just found this forum. (glad I did). My question is I have a 2002 4x4 extended cab, trd, etc...taco. I'm going to lift my truck 3" revtek style. What are the best size wheels and tires? I was thinking of going 16x8, 265/75r16? Can I go wider, bigger, if so, will they rub? Just want to know if anyone out there has experienced a wider wheel and tire, and if they are happy? Any help would do:D

    Welcome to TW!

    Look around a bit and you'll find some good info. You can't go smaller that 16" wheels because of the size of the brake rotors. As far as width and rubbing, keep the backspacing around 4" or 4.5" (stock is 4.5") and you should be good. Worst case, just cut the fenders a bit if you rub with a set of wheels and tires that you really like! :cool:

    hey im runin 315/75R16 and it rubs alot i wouldn recomend it unless you want to start doin some grinding of metal

    you can run up to a 285/75/16 with minimal rubbing on your 3" lift. Might have to trim a little but not too bad.
