Yeah the wheel spacers add strain to the wheel bearings but periodic maintenance of the bearings can help. There is a slightly "heavier" steering feel but personally I like that. Feels a lot less twitchy.

Also anyone considering wheel spacers needs to be disciplined about keeping the nuts torqued. Using loctite is great but you shouldn't just throw on some spacers and never think about them again. Just double check that the spacers are torqued correctly once a month or so and you should be fine.

X2 and make sure to use a torque wrench. You don't want to over tighten them.

And I always recommend extended thread lug for the front. Cheap insurance and hold the torque much better on our already very short front wheel studs.

Rubbing goes away for the frame. But the wider you go the more you'll have to cut from the fender.

Not sure what Adams BS was on his rims. But I'd guess right now he is sitting at 3.5-3.25. I'm at 2.5" and had to trim the fender a lot more then when I was at 4"

I install spacers the same way I do the wheels, (no specific torque ft/lbs, no locktite) never had a problem. YMMV :notsure:

The only thing I didn't like about running spacers is that they make changing the CVs a huge PITA, especially when you're working by yourself.

Yes. Techinically the entire tire needs to be covered by the flares, so I'm a bit "grey" with the legality right now. However there are a lot of full size trucks driving around here that are MUCH worse and don't seem to get hassled too badly so I'm hoping it doesn't draw too much attention.

BTW, there is a rather large box that was delivered to my house today.

I haven't even seen it yet, so I don't know for sure if the "item" has arrived. I just got a call that there was something delivered.
