Noted. Must find one of the three sets of tin snips at the house. I've got left, right, and straight cut if I can find them.

It's pretty easy to work with, and is this stainless? Has no oil on it and it's corrosion free

 

The ones I have are 3 in 1. Like big old scissors! Nice to work with.

 

Got a set of those on the work bench downstairs, but they are a little worse for wear.

 

The big ones with the red handles? I dont know how many blisters i have gotten using those for roofing, almost everytime i use them i get blisters I hate roofing.

The newer compound snips are color coded for the type of cut... Red/left, Green/right, Yellow/straight. Use the right one for the right cut and no blisters

I think the oldschool snips were just straight cut.

if you like the split spoke design may I suggest

 

I like the first one, especially if the wife lets you pull the trigger on those front and rear bumpers. The polished ring will look sharp, and the black will match with the armor.

ya I know what you mean, I just buy the yellow ones. Milwaukee makes some nice ones though for straight cuts and turns. I was talking about these, which is what I think alex might have, these are the blister makers

 

Those are nice and heavy, but that's a straight cut... harder to push around for a curve.
