I bought a deck for the truck that has a USB input. So I'm in process of ripping my 300-something CDs onto flash drives. A time consuming process at best.

I have 8 SCSI CDROM drives I can hook up to my system.

Does anyone know if Media Player can rip 8 CDs at one time, to the same destination?

If it can't does anyone know if there's software out there that can?

Careful trying to do too much on that computer. You might get some hickups in your mp3s if you CPU can't keep up. Generally the CPU is the bottleneck since you are ripping and compressing.

Yeah, I tried doing three at a time and the system froze. Oh well, time it wants, time it gets.

Make sure to backup the files. It would suck to lose the drive and have to do it all again.
