Sounds good. I'll take some of the bodywork apart this weekend and try to straighten some panels before I paint the truck.

Not that it should stir up the tiger blood, but some CV porn in the meantime :D

On a side note, I DID plan on starting the bodywork on the truck last Sunday, but got involved with spark plug change, TB cleaning and MAF cleaning on the wife's RX330. Easy job on our Tacomas. Quite the opposite on the RX330. Link below if you've got spare time like Stallone:
http://www.clublexus.com/forums/rx-...330-rear-spark-plug-change-diy-with-pics.html (I followed the directions on the PDF which were great)

WOW - what an improvement. The TB was pretty dirty and I was scrubbing endless black sludge off it.

Also changed oil and did maintenance on the tiller, pressure washer and mower.

So - what say for a wheel and eat meet on July 20th? How about a wheel and shoot and eat?

Maybe try the Stampede Pass route? I'm open for anywhere, just trying to find a time we can get a good turnout...

Kenny - you off in Guatemala or anywhere farabouts that weekend?

Stallone - when's your busy weekends? Are you gone all of July?

If you don't draw blood, you're doing it wrong!
    Turned out great Tallon!

I am a fan of the solid 1-piece design. Pretty easy to bolt-up, reinforced seams, no edges, hardware, or "steps" to smack on obstacles.

I can vouch for the durability of this skid design. It is stout as hell and really got put to the test on our TSF trip. It took several hard impacts up front, and underneath with no dents or flexing. All the wings on the sides are gusseted together to increase rigidity and impact-energy displacement, and I have jacked up my truck using just the skid with no issues.

Granted mine was the first one we built (even with my shitty welding and ambitious "just do it" attitude), mine turned out great with Tallon's help. I'm sure Tallon has refined the fab process to make it even better.

I hope somebody picks this up!

How would you achieve a full 6" without doing a DB lift? Just curious what you had in mind, not busting your balls or anything.

I will be in Houston that weekend...

But, that shouldn't stop you guys from getting together for some awesomeness!!! :D

Hey Andrew! I'm going to be around my sister's place next week - how's your truck coming along?

Looks like I'm heading out to Hell's Canyon on the 12th, with my nephew in tow. I'm stoked, he's stoked.. Been in contact with a ranch owner out there, he's going to meet up with me and show me a few private trails that his family owns; hoping to spend 4 days out there.

Billy just called, bumper is shipping out tonight - hoping it'll be there waiting for me when I get back to WA on the 8th..

Anyone done the OMD spring mod?? Pretty sure a HC swing out/300 LBS of gear is going to kill my Add-A-Leaf.. Picking up a set of stockers from Moe when I get back, going to add a couple of Chebby leafs per side..

My truck is the same as ever. I did put some Bosch Icon wiper blades on last week. They seem nice. I should give Billy a call - I never got my frame plates I bought with my bumper. I need to install that thing. A ton house projects and kiddo have really put the pinch on my truck mod time.

Will - did you ever get your plates?

    July 20 - where??
