of course not... rather, it was your statement to the effect of "being a cop" as a precondition to "passing judgements"...

I never thought of this but it is a good possibility the owner was amping up the dog to attack the officers. Either way if I were the officer I would make an attempt to control the dog but if it attacked me, I'm choosing myself over the dog. Now before everyone jumps all over me, I do love animals including dogs, but I will chose my safety over a dog.

I have a few dogs and I keep them on leashes or in my fenced in back yard or in my house. If they come in the truck with me, it's to a store, park, or building they can go in to (dogs come to work some times...) and then home. They bark at passersby and the mail/UPS guys...and the get told to knock it off.

Stopping to make an anti-police recording put the dog into that situation. The OWNER failed to ensure his animal was cared for/secure.

On the flip side - Police are trained to stay alive and avoid injury to the max extent possible...So their nature is to defend themselves.

I think it is perfectly reasonable to not pass judgement onto another's profession, when you yourself are not in that profession and understand what their train of thought is.

Exactly. This crap about the owner being responsible is BS. Dog clumsily lunged at his arm and cop went bezerk. No other cop drew a weapon. They stood behind and used BigDouche as a shield. Rambo decides to confront dog with gun only. I can't believe it's not sickening for anyone who has ever had a dog.

I have no idea what you're trying to say here. I'm the sheep? All I can do is laugh if that's what you mean.

I'm too busy hatin the police? Give me a good reason not to. They act high and mighty all the time because they have a badge. If they would just do their job correctly I wouldn't have a problem (pepper spray before the bullets maybe?) But too often things like this happen that cause me to not trust anyone with a badge.

Ever been sprayed?? Cause I have. First time it took all of my self control to continue the train exercise I was doing instead of attacking the bastard who sprayed me- FOR TRAINING.
Spray an animal like that?? Not gunna even try it - Gunna make it more angry and who knows what'll happen. Not to mention there is a chance that OC will not effect the dog at all...So now the officer has had to draw OC, spray, evaluate the effect, then draw a gun and fire to stop the attack. In that amount of time the dog could had broken bones or done other serious harm.

I'm glad others realize what's going on and aren't OK with it.

Don't need to tell a cop that..I'll tell the judge.

I have nothing more to say other than all the sheeps on this forum and in this country need to grow a pair and stand up for themselves.

I'm likely in agreement of a lot of what you say about what's going on at the White house, but you fail at making a valid point on a dog, so you changed the topic, not surprised. I do wish they pepper sprayed , no idea if they had it, still the owner created the problem, that spiraled. simple stuff really. Trashing others bringing WH, and other conspiracies wont change anything related to the dead dog, nor will politics.
