I never send as a gift these days. Even to friends and people I know. I just send extra to cover the 3%. It's only 3%, so unless I'm sending a couple hundred, the peace of mind is worth the couple bucks. OP, lets be honest here, you're probably fucked. Luckily it was only $30, so you're not out that much...obviously the other HU and all that...and the principle of the matter. But hey, you've got your health, right? Lol

 

Yeah I'm actually not even worried about the money. As soon as I sold the truck I knew I was gonna be stuck with this radio. Now it's merely principle. If PayPal doesn't cover me I'll overnight the radio back with a rattle snake in it or something. Plus if any members in LA feel like raising hell I wouldn't care to stop them.

Give them a call. Sometimes the one who's assigned to your case are slacking. A call (voice to voice instead of online texts) will give them a push.

Actually I'm thinking I didn't send payment as a gift. He sent me a payment request. Plus since he provided PayPal with a tracking number in lieu of this dispute he's admitted that we exchanged goods for payment. I'll call PayPal tomorrow. Regardless of a tracking number I haven't received anything from him so I think this case should be mine.

 

Actually Nate, even if you don't win the pp dispute $30 is money well spent to expose a scum bag in this community. I am sure that between everyone that has been following these threads we could come up with the $30.

 

Again, not worried about the money. But I completely agree with you about exposing a fraud. He runs a web company called Cigafy. They do web design. I can almost guarantee a couple bad reviews about "wade chapman" that co owns "cigafy" will come up when someone googles his name or company. That's gonna cost him a while lot more than 40 bucks!

I think OP already told seller he didn't want product. Asked for a refund.. I may be wrong. As in told him months ago..
