It would all be custom. A manifold will run over a grand by itself dude..

    Not worth it period.

    Unless your keeping it.

And even building it yourself means pulling the motor in and out in and out in and out to test fit a manifold.

    Don't do it man.

There is no way not too.

Unless you use cheap Chinese junk turbos and shit. Then..you just made the truck worse..

    A good turbo..800 bucks minimum..

    Fuel stuff that's good..800-1000+

    Manifold...1000+

    Piping and intercoller..4-600

    Trust me man..not worth it.

And yes. If I was selling any of my toyotas..I want to make sure it goes to a person who will love it just as much....that inspires you to look at buyers a bit different  especially for you with all the bold sweat and tears poured into it.

But that's why I'm trying to gauge how much more I could get.

The key here is that I wouldn't be paying full price for this set-up. Not over $1300 for intercooler, slightly used turbo, custom manifold, plumbing, (etc) and expertise on the install. It will be a very basic set-up. My buddy and I kinda swap work favors on each others vehicles. I help him out with axle/gear/fab stuff and he helps me out with engine/electrical stuff.

I know time = money but I don't think this is a valid factor since learning something new is also very valuable to me.

    So for $1300, would you?

If not, than I get it.. Just thought I'd ask since I don't know how much turbos and such increase or decrease value. Kinda figured it won't be worth it though...

Hmmm I'd want to no way more about it first.

And 1300 is only half of it man.. Your not even thinking about the fuel side and management..that will put it over 2k easy.

Tempting as it is. I don't think it's worth it for you still..you can always learn about turbos. It's not that hard..and it always better to start with a factory boosted car to really learn about them and tweak it.

I'd pass. On the tacoma anyways..save that favor for another build.

I will come to New Mexico and shoot out both your knees if you do that :fenforcer:

Silas, if you must turbo something, throw a turbo in your celica. A 4agze converted to turbo would be awesome in that thing.

    Still talking big money though.

Yeah they look really simple to make. I don't have quite the setup the guy in the write up does but I can make due haha.

I did bring a tape and they were 64".

Yeah I've ran across that page in my reading. And I definitely want to do the square tube over the plate but I can't find any that size locally.. Ill look into the 63 swap kits on ballistic and ruffstuff though.

Silas, listen to the guy. Never in the history of ever has someone recovered what they paid for the turbo by increasing their asking price absolutly not worth it, even if u use a 1000 dollar eBay kit. The price is steep enough as it is for a niche market, you are just makin that niche smaller by opening another can of worms. I'm sayin this cuz I care haha. You are selling it because you need the money, wasting the time putting on a turbo kit will destroy and money you are going to make from this thing.

2jz with a big single turbo. Should be good for 900 hp.
