Robert: so the 4runner CV's are comparable? Sweet. What years?

 

I bought Oreilly's remans. They are factory Toyota CVs with new boots on them. They have a life time warranty. If one fails, I yank it out and drop it on their counter and get a new one. Never have to pay for CVs again.

 

Yeah they work. 1996-2002 4runner cv's will work.

I hear you on that one, but you also have a core charge. I wanted an extra one to keep around and at $100 for a core charge I wouldn't have kept my extra one around. Plus for me I'll be out of this vehicle in probably 3-4 years so a lifetime warranty isn't exactly necessary. I do understand the appeal though.

So has anyone had ants come into their truck because of the insane heat? I dont keep for or drinks in my truck and the inside is clean. Its about 110 up here during the day so I'm thinking they do it to get away from the heat? Any ideas?

 

I've had an ant or too sneak in before. I used to park next to a tree that I saw a trail of them. I avoid that spot now. I'd watch where you park in the dorms. I used to have a horrible ant problem when I lived there. I don't think they spray pesticides enough there.
