I've heard numbers as high as 30-50% homosexual priests, but also wonder how you could get an accurate poll on that.

One theory is that young homosexual catholic boys are basically told that homosexuality is bad and a celibate priesthood is a outlet that denies their sexual feeling, and the shame of coming out to their family and friends. But what would you guess happens later when the opportunity arises, pun intended.

The 2 kids in my age group in high school that ended up taking the priesthood path were very effeminate and rather obviously gay.

Yeah, I can take a lump of clay, push a toy into it, roll it in sand, and post a picture of it on the internet. But I am sure they had it indepently tested by several registered geologist willing to put their professional licenses on the line.

I mean I've been around a lot of sand

When I'd go metal detecting I'd find these "rocks" all the time, with bottle caps and coins in them

They look and feel solid, but drop it and the whole thing crumbles

The hot wheels was just left on the sand, it got buried into dense sand, the moist deeper sand formed around the car...over time with the tide going in and out, the ball got more and more compacted whenever it dried. Sometime in that process a little crushed coral got mixed in, adding calcium to the mix

Wind probably exposed the car after a month or so

This is like me going to Canada, seeing maple sap coming out of a tree and immediately dismissing all prehistoric amber as fake

I thought I could take a couple days off from this thread and it would be all figured out by the time I got back.

Looks like there's still a little work to do. I figure it shouldn't take more than another week or two, right?
