    I have a white std cab base 5 speed too. You might eventually want to regear your truck, as big wheels really slow down the trusty little 2.7.

    It really isnt as bad as you would think, I can run 80 down the interstate no problem and still have a little power to pass people if need be. No where near as slow as my 6cyl Heep was after 33s. Its apples to oranges though, it had 3.73s. I may regear down the road but I want to drive one with gears before I commit. At the end of the day it will always be a 4cyl!

    Mine is a just 4x2, has 3.31 rear end gearing that yields just 2,000rpm @ 60mph . I had 245/75/16's and the truck was a slug. It would buck when shifting from first gear to second while climbing the grade to my house and I'd have to drop back into first. I didn't want to be putting that kind of strain on the crank and rod bearings so I went back to stock diameter tires...

    ...and the truck climbs grades easily plus the speedometer and odometer are accurate again. :)

    I thought all the 4 bangers have 4:10s That will make it hard on the guys wanting to do a new single cab pre-runner!

    That must to be the 4x4 gearing. My 4x2 is geared higher than heck. 75 mph on the freeway in 5th gear is only 2,500 rpm. That's passenger car gearing.

    Thnaks for the compliments guys, the only thing left now is maybe a bumper and skids. I need tunes in the worst of ways but have no idea where to start. I am car audio dumb. I know I want a Pioneer touchscreen unit, just no idea on what sub and speakers to go with. :confused:

    I want a reg cab but I'm 6'4 so that won't be happening. Even with my seat maxed its still ehhh ok
