I posted earlier about my 2013 double cab LB 4X4 SR5 in introductions.

I want to do two things ASAP: Put running boards on it because I am a shortie and have to take a flying leap out of the truck when I get out! I'm looking for basic black or chrome ones that fit flush to the body and aren't flimsy- hubby is a big guy. Some of the ones I find online look questionable and there are SO many out there- any suggestions? I did a forum search but didn't really get anywhere with that.

Also I'd like to get faux leather or leather seat covers- the kind that fit REALLY WELL.... I saw that you all have group buys of Wet Okole covers regularly. Then I saw the Katzkin leather seat cover buy and got all excited when I saw the prices, but later realized it was a two year old thread. :( Ah well, I've written John to see if he's still selling them and what his current prices are. Maybe it's still a possibility!

Thanks for any advice you can give me about the running boards!

I have NFAB sidesteps. Very well made and sturdy. Can be bolted on in minutes.

Look on CraigsList for your sidesteps. Not sure what you are looking for, but if you are fine with the Toyota OEM, I see them posted on CL often. I jump between Jacksonville and Tampa frequently and currently see brand new take-offs in both places listed for around $200. Great price when you consider Toyota charges about $500 for them...

For running boards, I have the brushed aluminum ones that the dealer had. They hold up just fine.

I have the Katskinz leather interior in mine too. They are pricey because they're Real leather, and because they're not just seat covers. They actually replace the cloth completely, and require quite some time and effort to install.

Thanks. Don't see too many in Barcelona Red but I like it. Have since blacked out the grille and lower front valence.

Clazzio is a good option if you want leather seat covers; cost about $500 of the front and rear set.

Just checked them out- they look really nice! Thanks! Just ordered swatches :D I'd just get in-stock so hopefully there won't be much of a wait like I'm reading about, custom ordering!

As for running boards, I guess I'm looking for more like what you would get at the dealer- but for much less, of course- are the ionics any good? The ones they call "factory style" are a full 6 inches wide and I'm thinking that might be too wide? Then again, with all the ice, sand, salt and snow here- that might be a good thing.
