Yes, we are. Through the help of a good Christian Counseling agency we are making progress towards a happy marriage. Marriage is tough, and for it to work involves lots of work. Unfortuneately nowadays, most dont want to put in that work and just give up.

I am happy we are both willing to put in that work! :)

A slew of pricey stuff my wife hates me for.
Good on you both! It takes two to tango right? Plus, you can take her on the trail and kick her out to spot and take pictures of your rig on the technical sections :D

Good to hear! People take marriage way too lightly these days and just give up at the first problems. Glad to hear you guys are trying to work it out!

Thanks! She actually loves wheeling! Heres a shot of her one of the first times we wheeled (she was a lil nervous, lol):

Congrats! I agree with the above and strongly feel the same way.....people treat marriage as though its dating these days. Keep up the solid work on the marriage and please get some more build updates!

Thanks! Will do on both accounts!

    Thanks!

    Hows this?

Got the steering shaft worked out yesterday afternoon. Here's an overall shot at it.

    20130707_210110_zps77cbf7ad_ee61619e33bf1ece38ab25651e767690aa115ca4.jpg

I used two universals from Borgeson, a telescoping shaft, and a 3/4" Heim for an intermediate bearing/shaft support.

    Column End universal: 3/4"DDx5/8"-36 spline Part# 014918
Steering Box universal: 1"DDx11/16"-36 spline Part # 015225
    1"x3/4" DD shaft (telescoping): Part # 450024

    Here's a few more shots.

Had to make a low profile SHCS to sit in the c'bore of the pitman arm.

Working out a purchase for some beadlocks :D

I have only purchased 2 of the five 8 lug wheels I needed at this point, and found a swinging deal on a set of 4 steelies with DIY beadlocks already installed.

Its basically a wash to finish buying the remaining 3 steelies or get used beadlocks, easy decision. Plus I will have an extra brand new steel wheel to sell or trade for a set of beadlock rings for my spare:cool:

This will be my first time using Fastenal's freight service so I hope it goes smoothly.
