    Hey everybody,
Tires are coming due on my truck and i wanted to get some input on whats good out there, my dads got a set of bf good longtrail ta's on his tundra and im tempted to go with them because hes had no problems at all. As of now my truck is pretty much a daily driver so looking for something with a good tread life rather than a trail tread thats close to factory size. Ive heard some good stuff about kumos, but i know they use a softer compound so i wouldnt think they'd last near as long... any input or suggestions would be appreciated

The long lasting tires with decent tread life I've ever owned were Firestone Firehawk.

Why not bfg all terrains or the rugged trails?

my padre got like 8000 less miles on a set of rugged trails, plus my truck doesnt really see any kind of offroad right now, so just figured a road tire would fair a little better on the wear side of things

Actually those all terrains last a long time. I've read on tire rack or what not, about people still driving on their tires for nearly 90k-100k. Plus with a truck you'll never know. Then if not that some firestone highway tires, I had my set that came with my truck and drove them bald at nearly 90k.

OP, you had your answer from the first post. end thread.

    http://www.michelinman.com/tire-selector/category/suv-crossover/ltx-m-s2/tire-details

If you're more worried about longevity and a quality tire over "off road" performance" there is no other tire in the present market that I would buy than the Michelin LTX MS2. Done deal.

EDIT: before anyone says, "yeah, but they cost more." Measure cost over miles and make up the difference in quality. Worth it, IMO.

+1...These tires last a crazy long time, ride like a dream, and make no noise period on the road.I went from BFG KO'S to these recently and love them.Although I love the KO'S and have had several sets in the past its hard to beat the M/S for on road comfort..
