Thanks! :) This truck is my pride and joy- I don't think I've ever been more proud of anything in my life. I've put about $2300 into it, including tires and the original purchase of the truck. May not sound like a lot, but it is to me! If I went to resell it, I'm sure I could almost double my money- but of course, I'm never selling Stonewall Jackson. Either I'm going to die, he's going to die, or we will die together in a fiery crash. :D
Of course, I owe most of it to my best friend. I worked in his garage, used his tools, his vast expertise, and his storage space. That's why he's the only other person allowed to drive Stonewall. :D

Thanks!! I'm about to get him inspected (finally) but first I gotta figure out what is wrong with my turn signals. They worked yesterday.
A few nights ago, I was driving around, (I don't drive much at night) and when I went to look at my speedometer, nothing was lit up. My gear selector still lit up, but the rest of the dash panel would not. I checked the fuse under the hood, (I would assume it is the one that is labeled "PANEL" on the cover) and it looked fine. But I found a spare 10 amp fuse and threw it in, and my panel lights started working again. But now my turn signals won't work. I'm thinking I have a short somewhere?

Strange... immediately after posting the above post, I went out to check on the truck/try to fix the problem with my turn signals. But they are all working now. There must be an intermittent short somewhere... not sure where, though.

    Thanks! :D

On a rather alarming note, I'm having a bit of trouble getting him to start. It'd crank for a couple seconds and fight to start. Once or twice, I had to crank it for 7-10 seconds. It started to do this yesterday, and would do it off and on. Sometimes, it'll start flawlessly, sometimes it does this. There's no lights coming on the dash, so I'm not sure. Ignition problem, or not getting enough fuel at start-up?

I've figured that problem with start-up is just happening when I start the truck, turn it off, and start it up again within ten or so minutes: Ie, drive to my friend's house, stop in for a minute or two (literally) and go back to turn it on. It doesn't like having to start multiple times in such a short span. Used some Meguiar's Ultimate Compound on Stonewall the other day. Meant to use wax over top of it, but then it rained and I've been busy ever since. Now I'll have to give him a bath again before I do it. Also got some Meguiar's plastic black.

I don't know if it would make a difference, but have you ever put STP fuel treatment in your tank?

Not STP specifically, but I have thrown a fuel treatment in there after we did the fuel pump.

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
I'd replace the engine coolant temp sensor and see if the hard starting goes away. [IMG]

Bought the new upstream o2 sensor from Rock Auto, should be here in a few days. Hopefully this takes care of that check engine light and that slight bogging!

Heck yeah! I was so happy when I saw they only wanted like 45 bucks for it- Advance wanted 107, and would have only been like 10 bucks cheaper with my discount. (Me and a couple friends have a business account.)
