Well at least I know its not just me... Ive managed to fuss with it enough to get it to stay closed, but its a mos def design flaw.

I found another post in this thread on how to deal with the non-TRD drivers side seat back cover velcor closure. Something about cutting the hog rings that hold the factory shield and flipping it up against the seat back to get the velcro closure to meet? Again, design flaw! I looked around plenty though, and these are still quite possibly the best (if not THE best) seat covers available.

I didn't cut anything. I just unclipped the plastic from the underside and folded it up behind the seat. It comes out plenty tight.

As farr as the console cover, i just flipped it around a few different ways and found one that works fine without interfering with the opening.

This, i thought, was the biggest pain in the ass of the project.

I got mine and installed them a couple nights ago.
I'm not overly impressed by them to be quite honest for the price.
These cost me 475$ CDN for 2 seats by the time this was at my door.

Has anyone else got the air lumbar option?
I got them and the drivers side air bag deflates on its own over a short amount of time. I don't think this should be happening.

Here's a pic of them installed.
Charcoal center, no piping, TRD logo with lumbar supports and rear storeage.

Cool, I'll try that this weekend then.

Ya, it works - once its positioned just right.

OMG, I finally got my seat covers and installed them this evening. Took about 2 hours with the help of my 10 year old daughter. The bulk of the time was spent on the back seats as I wanted to retain the use of the protective plastic coating behind the seat for storage purposes. The front seats were a breeze and the plastic outer casing comes off with one phillips screw. OMG it couldn't be easier. WTF was this talk of removing the seats? The back seat plastic coating was a bear with only 5 screws total but forcing it over the seat covers was a challenge. Nothing a little will power wouldn't fix. I really am glad I went with this style and the color I chose. Much better quality than Iggee seat cover that I went with in my Titan a few years back. Anyhow, here are a few pictures or you can view all at http://picasaweb.google.com/dendaniels/TacomaSR5TRDOFFROAD03#!

I got the same ones with the same black TRD Off Road logo. Look really sharp. I like the black TRD Off Road better than the other colors i have seen, as i thought i would.

I added the half piping as well which is a nice touch.

My guess is they look even better in person, as mine do also. Pictures don't catch the color contrast to give them the full justice.

I actually have a jeep now. Imagine that.
Glad to see everyone else's center console cover looks like shit like mine too. Seriously annoying how it covers the button. every now and then it just pops open.

Mine does not cover the button. I tucked it behind. Works perfect.

yea, wrestle with it a little. maybe take it off and flip it around. i was pretty pissed at how poor the fitment was when i first installed the console cover, but with some fanegaling, it fits pretty well now. the function of the lid is only *slightly* affected, while at first it was severely affected.

Got mine installed last weekend. Did a little "custom" work on the seat heater switch & installed it in the console (fed by an "add a circuit"). Heater works great (hot within 2-3 minutes).

sounds like you can organize it! it was a fairly big production organizing this one and i really had no part in that aspect. there were several hundred rows ordered, and wet okole were pretty specific how things would go down... and granted i think everyone got their covers eventually, the communication was sloppy at best from wet okole, and frustrated many. but, seems that's how group buys go :(
