What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

I know right? I changed it on my iPad. I am camping and can't fix it or delete it. Kind of ridiculous.

 

The red of the emblem is what's throwing it off...or at least making it look like a nose.

Blacking it out (possible along w/ the scoop) changes the whole balance...

 

it will take awhile, Im still like... almost nine batches out for craigs grills.

 

How about matching the emblem with barcelona red instead of Radiant lol

 

Better than yellow at least.

 

I saw some deer crossing the road today. saw them in plenty of time to come to a stop and watch them cross. they took there damn time crossing the road as well.

Changed the oil and managed to rip the skin clean off the palm of my hand almost all the way across. Idiot at the dealership put the filter on way too tight.

 

the filter ripped some skin off? must have some weak skin.

What if he derped his grill center black with a red emblem and painted red mesh in the skewp?

Now if your seat belt is ever caught hanging out of the door, it will be a tampon string.

 

Didn't have the right one. And was too far in to go to the parts store and get one.
As for the weak skin It would have torn anyone's lol regardless of if you work in an office or not.

 

haha. just busting your balls. i have 2 cuts on my fingers right now and i have no clue where they came from, or when i got them, or even how.

 

Just have never understood why the dealerships put the filter on so tight. Seriously. The drain plug was extremely easy. The filter pshhhhhh. And how do you get the filter off without oil going everywhere on top of the engine.

 

The oil filter sits on the oil cooler and the oil cooler has a built in catch to it and under the cooler there is a rubber plug on a spout hanging down. Place an old plastic cup wedged in under the spout. Remove oil filter and as you pick it up it drains into the catch area then drains into the container you wedged in under the cooler earlier. Tilt filter over to prevent leaks after removal of course then take a paper towel or rag and wipe up the excess from the top where the filter sits and wipe out the catch area, replace rubber plug on spout, then install the new filter, done.

 

"What did I do to my Tacoma today?" should read, "What did I mock up for someone else's Toyota today?" I went full-on, w/ red honeycomb grills, kept the red emblem, and it actually isn't that bad. If you get all the shades of red to match, it'll be quite a looker against the white, especially w/ matching rims, red interior, and however else much you can beg, borrow, or steal to pull it together, lol!
