nice stereos, when I get my truck emptied, I will show off mine (moving stuff from my apartment to home).

On a side note, I run a kenwood excelon head unit (not touch screen), infinity door speakers powered by a 1000 watt nitro amp (cheaper, but works for the speakers), a JL 13w5 pancake sub behind my back seat powered by a 500 watt JL mono amp

I just have the stock touchscreen in my 2013 then i added a sub box from supthump.com, put a 10" kicker solo baric in it, and powered it with a 2000 watt mtx amp. When I move back to the states I want to change out the speakers just have no idea what brand yet, havent looked into it much.

How does that setup hit? I know its not going to be a bone crushing bass, but does it leave you satisfied?

Had a Pioneer DEH-2500UI then I was able to pick up this Kenwood KIV-701 for $40. I just wish the Kenwood remote was a big as the Pioneer remote.

The only thing this deck is missing is Android app mode...oh well guess I'll have to switch to iPhone next time I upgrade.

Stock JBL system with some added bass

A rockford shallow p3sd4-8 dvc 8"sub in the stock JBL box, some fat mat sound deadening .

And a shallow box with another rockford 8" shallow sub , my box is self made and drops right into the driver side compartment behind the rear seat of my dble cab . Easy removal if need be and there no cutting and saves the child seat hook if needed.

Both being pushed by a rockford r500 at pretty much minimum gain lol

It said on the box it was compatible with android?

I have an iPhone so it didn't cross my mind to check about the app mode for droid.

It works with Pandora on Android but not a true app mode. The main thing I want is to hook it up with a GPS app to view on the radio screen.
I wish Copilot was a supported app. Its a great GPS app, but not supported by the Pioneer.
I'll be upgrading soon because my Droid's battery is about useless now. Had it for three years.

What I'm hoping to do is find a way to hook up the factory USB and aux jacks to the Pioneer outputs. That would be super slick.

The sun glare can make it to where you can barely see what's on the screen. It all depends on what time of day it is and which direction your truck is facing. I have the x3500.
