I had a ratchet strap break and put some gouges in my weather stripping. Didn't break my rear window, but still makes me sick to my stomach. Insurance will replace the window, just hate to go through the process and replace a window that isn't broken.

Any ideas of a way to fix it?

That sucks. I know it sucks to have damage, but may not be worth having the insurance replace it. Unless they are cool and don't hold it against you. It doesn't look like it was compromised, just nicked up.

All threads show on everyone's home page. No eed to start multiple threads on the same subject.

Looks more like your window frame than weatherstripping. Filler and paint will work.
