I know what your problem is.

For it to work on Mac and OC it must be FAT32 format. However..

Your limited to file sizes under 4 GB for Mac

Best case to do is partition the drive. Do journaled for Mac and fat32 for PC. What I had to do for video files.

But es. Fat32 is what all flash drives usually work as. Limit to 4gb files. That doesn't mean you can put 4 2gb files on an 8 GB flash drive. It's just you couldn't do a 5gb file

Im using .035 wire. i had a whole spool if it sitting around so why not?! I wish i could figure out a way around the splatter, but i have yet to. no matter what wire speed or temp it is all over my leg. however adam was right, when it got hotter it splattered less and looked cleaner (because i was able to use proper technique) and subsequently had flatter more normal looking joints.

I started to grind it so it doesent do much good to see the dimes in it

holy shit, i dont know how you managed to do that but it looks like molten metal just cooled in place. It is supposed to look like stacked dimes

 

Yeah you definitely need a smaller gauge wire for that. Think about it this way you have to run hot to get the wire to melt but your probably pushing too much wire for the heat you using.

 

bingo. that could be a big part of the problem.

How big was the amp. And it really honestly as long as the amp is matched correctly, most of it comes down to tuning it correctly. Monte woul probably have this part better though
