A slew of pricey stuff my wife hates me for.
I find your humble approach refreshing. However, I feel some of your brethren are not as humble as you, especially when they try to enact legislation that impedes on my ability to remain "free".

Just as a frame of reference, my grandmother wore no jewelry save for her wedding band. Humble in everything she did per the exact verse you mentioned. However, she was a very liberal woman who would never dare impose her beliefs on others. What gives with this new generation of religious zealots?

You made the mistake of assuming that I exempt myself from the same moral law to which everyone else is subject, when in reality I never have and never would ever do that.

So if what you stated is your "concept", you're now agreeing with me that each of us is personally responsible for the reality of the consequences of our own actions and not some external arbitrary "punisher". :)

That has been my point all along. Reality is the judge which renders the final verdict on our actions.

You are getting exactly what you deserve as the results of your own behavior just like I do and everyone else does. The moral playing field is perfectly level.

Some cannot separate belief from what they call reality. What he sees as reality is not for others.

If you had refrained from "that aspect of the 'competition'" and simply stuck to Creationism vs. Evolution, then I'd agree you weren't here to play "got-cha". As it is though your "got-cha" efforts, while subdued compared to others, still stand out like sore thumbs, ..if quietly so!

    Too many to list now.
Lol I knew I'd catch flack for that. I also knew you'd all look past everything else I said. I don't judge those folks, in fact I'm extra careful what I say around them because the last thing I want to do is push them away. And I think there's evidence that they in fact don't feel that way. Heck we vacation with another couple in a same sex relationship.

And as far as being happy together, yes, I agree you can be happy. But homosexual relationships have the WORST relational statistics. Higher infidelity rates, higher divorce rates, more failed relationships. So statistically speaking, you're wrong.

What won't work about that game? Are you saying we need a control group... those are the referees. So what won't work now? I feel like this is a full proof experiment. What could possibly go wrong?
    ...
Death? I thought that would be a choice to be with your savior or "God".

Sure. Let's do it. But wait, that's right, a true Christian would not be having sex with a hooker.

Oh, and by the way, the nation of Israel was using quarantine to stop the spread of infectious disease and mandated that human waste be buried outside the camp when the nations around them were using human feces as a salve for cuts.

And I am sure that Christians never use science! But wait, Luke was a physician and a writer of one of the Gospel accounts. Oh yeah, and I use it every day for my work, I must be a heretic.

Seems that today it is fashionable to bash and belittle Christians. But wait, that was foretold as well. Probably just coincidence...

I have a better idea. Why don't we not bash each other, show mutual respect, and agree to disagree?

You mean like every time gprice has tossed around "secular leftism" to refer to someone who doesn't believe what he does.

Clearly you are once again unfamiliar with the concept of state deism or logic. The traditional oath, from times long ago, refers to a nonspecific god. Your arrogance correlates it with your vengeful rapture-loving version of a god. Current regulations do state in most services that the last line is optional.

Now the pledge is a whole different matter. We know when exactly "under god" was added.

That's a novel idea, I agree completely. Too bad the others from your side on here don't seem to agree.
