How did you do that? Is that OTD price?
I think MSRP for a 4x4 DCSB 6MT MGM TRD Sport is $34,015 CAD. (And that does not even seem to include tax and freight and delivery fees etc.)

Also, without reading the whole thread, since most are TRD models anyway what would be a reasonable price to pay for a Base (not even SR5), 6 speed Double Cab with 4x4? No extras, just the most basic and cheapest 4x4 Double Cab Tacoma. Is $25k USD OTD reasonable or too low?

Don't then! In December you're limited to stock on the lot. If they don't have what you want then likely you'll be SOL.

    FCCA,

I have been looking for a TRD Sport, 4x4, V6, tow package, in Magnetic Grey. The problem is I want a 6 speed manual. Very difficult to find a manual in California unless it is a base model.

I am in the SF Bay Area... where did you get your truck? I have been in contact with several dealers in the area, I even was in touch with Chico Toyota since I thought a manual would be easier to find there. No go!

I have been looking for 3 months. Daly City said they could order one so I may end up going that route, however it is getting close to the 2014 models so I am not sure if I should wait. It does not really matter since I don't think there will be any significant changes.

Another choice is to fly to Oregon or Washington and pick one up. What a pain in the a$$ to buy a new truck!

A base Access Cab 4 cyl, 5-spd 4x4 at $25,430 msrp, has a lowest Truecar price of $24,349 in Okla, so $25K for a DC V6 6speed is probably way too low.

This is exactly what I'm looking at. I've found a couple of the 2013 Bajas in the area (or close enough to drive to) that are being offered for $34,800. Do you guys think its worth trying to get them even lower? I figure its already close to 14% off MSRP and that's a good place to be.

On a different note, I've been lurking here for a couple of years and may finally see my Tacoma dream come true. :) Hope to be an owner soon.

Edit: I lack the space and ability to do any modding after I purchase, so it makes sense to me to get as much as I can on the truck at purchase.

Just got lucky with a dealer. Filled out the request form through USAA and they hooked me up with Boch Toyota. They included their offer in their first email to me. Original offer was for a Black one on the lot, but they honored it for a Super White coming in a bit later.

So what would be the average OTD price for one? (DCSB 6MT 4x4 base)

From reading TW seems like you can get DC TRD's for slighlty below 30k USD with some luck and SR5's for 27-28k?
