totally using "substantial" on my coworker monday. as in,

"hey can you get your substantial ass up here and hold this while I tack it please?"

or "I need your substance to get this union tight please"

I basically need at least one giant to follow me all day at work. I too little.

never need one to do oil changes though. only time I had trouble was my chevy's first change. that stupid thing was lowered though and it came off fine once I rolled it down to the gutter for more clearance.

I've never tightened any oil filter except by hand and never had one leak and they are always too tight to get back off by hand after 5K.

The one exception I've ever owned is the second gen Tacoma. I can get both hands around on it and exert my whole weight into it and it will come off by hand.

The hard part is getting the !@#$! thing off after I've already drained the oil on those rare occasions I have someone else change the oil (cross country trip, overly helpful inlaws looking at the 2 year old oil change sticker on my wife's car while it was parked at their house, engine work at dealer that required draining the oil, etc). I've never been able to loosen the filter by hand after having it "professionally" changed.

Any recommendations for a 73mm/14 flute oil filter wrench for D2 and D3 filters?
