I'd say yes. I love my Taco (had a 1st gen, now have a 2nd gen), but want a F250 diesel so bad I can taste it. THAT makes me hate my truck. Lol.

I have a love/hate relationship with my truck.

I love the looks and it works decent for me, but hate the limited power of my 4banger and the gas mileage killer lift/35's. But I live with it because it all comes with the mods I want and how I use the truck.
I'll eventually sell it and build my 4runner and have a DD/tow rig to haul it. But thats all a bunch of money that I dont really have to spend right now haha. I gotta say, love the low payments and the truck being almost paid off too, would hate a higher payment again. :annoyed:

I had one, sold it and bought my taco. Unless you use the thing for it's purpose, what's the point? $100 oil changes, EVERYTHING is more expensive to fix, fuel is ridiculous, etc. etc. I will say that I do miss the BIG truck but when I pull away from the pump with only $50 on the ticker vs. $120.....that all fades away. I had mine only to pull my 8x12 box trailer with quads. I sold all that and let the truck go 4-5 months later.

I'd love an F-150 diesel if they made it...(For towing purposes) I have 2 tacos and the SFA one I both love/hate, because it fucking rapes off road, but maintenance is stupid high on a SFA trail truck.. Shits always getting broken since you constantly smash it into the obstacles

My 2nd gen DD... Once again love/hate.. I hate it because it's another vehicle I have to maintence, and it's hard to maintenance it when you use it every single day (besides obvious like oil change). And I wish it towed better, but its a small truck, can't expect much. Not really sure why I love it? Well I guess maybe because it pulls my trail truck around, but that's about it.

^^^^the exact reasons why I haven't bought one even though my Taco is paid off and I can easily afford it. Was super close to buying a new 2012 Lariat a couple months ago, but practicality got the better of me.

I just had this same conversation with my little sister and her husband. Unless you are using that truck for its towing capabilities, there's no way to justify IMO especially when the F150 have gotten to be so big. You'd be better off modding an ecoboost if you aren't towing to get the look of a 250.

Thought I hated my Tacoma after I got in a wreck and had nothing but problems with after, sold it because I thought I "needed" a fullsize Titan. Found out my how much I loved my Tacoma and really hated the Titan and a full size truck. Well I sold it now I'm picking up a new Tacoma in 3 days ftw.

They are a heavy ass tire, hate that part... They wear well, and clean just fine. The 4 sets I've had anyways. You want a tire to wear out quickly. Get some mud grapplers lol

Oh and trust me I have a 08 power stroke and my Toyota the power stroke is worth it ;) wake up to the smell of unburnt coal and with a lift and rims its a panty dropper. I'd suggest keep both
