I read on here some where that someone removed them when installing covers. I am thinking they just pop off like the kick panels. Does anyone know?

Do you mean the ones on the sides of the front seat bottoms? Like where the lumbar and recline adjustments are? If so, then yes they just pop off. You have to remove the lumbar knob first though; just give it a pull.

NOOOOO! They do not " Just Pop off ".

Around the back of the seat there is 1 screw that has to be removed ( it is somewhat covered up, but it is there ). Remove it then carefully pry it loose from the clip there then it will pull off carefully after pulling the lumbar knob straight off.

On my 2013 Tacoma, you have to undo the screw at the back, pull the panel towards you in the middle ( to pop the clip ) and slide it forward to unhook the front.

So what? These threads show up at the top of a Google search. People still look for the information regardless of how old the thread is.
