Here are some photos from this weeks trip, slept great and kept the rain and bugs out.

Nice view looking out.

Overall I am very pleased with this setup, takes just minutes to setup and kept me off the ground and away from dirt. Stored my shoes on the side of the tailgate and used cubby holes for added storage. Hope this helps

Those are sick! In a good way. I was thinking about building a platform at bed rail height and sticking my feet through the sliding rear window, when the shell I ordered comes in. With this style of tent I can make a platform that only covers the front half of the bed instead of the whole thing. The dogs can sleep on the half-platform and I can roll out foam pads on the truck bed for my wife and I. I'm sure our friends and family with 5th-wheel campers will be jealous...Of course, Flip-Pacs are the coolest thing to happen to pickup trucks since four wheel drive, but those are WAAAY out of my humble price range.

I am six foot even, that airbed I used is 6.6" which fits just right, I have enough room to stretch out and sleep very nice.

I have it on all the time now because I take it out just about every weekend. I also built a hoist system in my garage to be able to take it on and off in about 10 minutes by myself. It lifts it up into the rafters of my garage.

You can mount a roof rack on it. Just make sure it doesn't hit the windshield when you flip it. Use steel reinforced plates on either side of the fiberglass and it will be fine. I will be doing this soon. Righto on the price though. Cost a fortune.

Sorry for the slow reply, got it from REI love this thing! Seen some twin size sleeping pad at Ikea over the weekend for $79.99 that would work perfect! This is 6' 5" long folds up small and fits in a bag not much bigger than my shoes. It's made for backpacking!

From Bishop a few weeks ago! Crazy wind and some rain blew through camp, but didn't make a dent in this thing, held up great and no leaks! Worth every cent and I use it a lot!

Glad I found this thread. My only regret with the DCSB is that it is not long enough to stretch out with the tailgate closed. This would solve that problem.

And thanks for the pics with the mid-size tent. Their web page recommends the large for the 05+ Tacoma. Clearly the mid-size is just fine.

And to contribute, while I am a regular REI customer, these Coleman air beds are quite comfy. And with the 120V outlet in the bed you can use their regular pump. Though I also bought the 12V pump and had the 12V plug installed in the shell.

DCLB is nice for that. Luckily I'm under 6 feet tall so I can stealth camp pretty much anywhere. The screened in tent over the rear door and tailgate would be much nicer though for those actual camping trips.
