You could, but you would have to mount it on the roof or be doing a wheelie or goin up a steep hill. And No telling what kind of Tacos you might "call" in. :D

Post some pics if you spray tint it, I think it will look better and discrete.

Yeah somewhere as a third brake light would be pretty cool.

    That would work.
And down below the bumper, the chrome when off wouldn't look too garish.

If it was blue/white, I'd like to see it on the front. I would like to have a big one to hang on a wall somewhere, I think it looks cool honestly.

As mentioned above... Blue/white (or red) on the front in motion would be a ticket.
Blue/white on the rear in motion would also be a ticket.
Red is cool on the rear... perfectly legal auxiliary lighting, or an aux 3rd brake light.

What I meant was cool white, it has a blueish tint but its not blue. I have cool white leds in my corner lights.

I know blue is illegal, my bro got a ticket for that. He had blue light strips on the wiper blades of his VR6 Jetta back in the day.

Correct me if I'm wrong but won't painting it black make the led not reflect properly? I'm guessing the led is behind the emblem and the crappy chrome look is actually just mirroring it. You could paint just the Toyota emblem itself but then you have the ugly chrome background...:notsure:

Nah the stuff I was talking about is a tint, so it's transparent. It will just darken it, it's used to darken tail lights. It just wont be as bright.

I know I used WAY too much tint on the lenses so light output is way down, but hey, give a guy a break! It was my first time using it! And I got impatient so I did it in like 10 minutes with no prep

Let me know what you think :D

I'll try to get a picture of it in the dark to make sure it wouldn't be moot.

The picture really doesn't do it justice. I actually really like the black badge and gloss background by itself with no lighting behind it haha.

    Yes sir!

    Here ya go!

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/171054810088?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649

Don't know about any other colors though. I think the main ones are designed to use as aux lighting so finding funky colors wouldn't be too hard nor would it be hard to make your own custom color one if you're decent with a soldering iron.

The tint looks good! I might order one to see if I can modify it to go with my other blue emblem.
