09 secondary air filter

    i searched but couldnt find it, in this wright up http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/technical-chat/4838-cheap-free-mods-4.html and i went to do it and i think on the 09's the air filter is in a diff spot and i couldnt get the cover off easily, i dont want to yank it and break it. even though its under warranty i dont want to chance it does anybody have a wrihgt up on the 09 4.0 V6 secondary air filter removal?

    It's in the same spot on the '09s. You have to break it to remove it, so if you're not comfortable with that, then don't do it.

    i ment the case of the air filter [​IMG]
    in my truck it on the top left where that hose is but in the wright up its a whole seperate box

    Dont remove it. No gains to be had by removeing it on the V6.

    oh, thanks...i prob sound dumb asking..but as this is my first vehicle and my dad not good with engines i dont have any experience

    haha thats true, but my dad dosent even want me to mod it for another 4 years...then its mine but hes ok with little things
