Yeah I agree! I love the way it turned out. It's a shame Sockmonkey doesn't do the decals anymore.[/QUOTE]

Yeah, I just found out. I've never actually seen the tailgate one you have. would of picked one up if I had.

You know why he stopped making them?

No, I don't know. I was lucky enough to be one of the last few to get some decals through him.

I found the tailgate decal in his pictures that were archived on photoshopped and asked him to swap out the "toyota" that came with the retro stripe set for this one. As you can see he obliged! Can't thank him enough!

Hard to tell from that pic but my guess is Volk te37's or Rota Grid's?

Hat's off to the owner (whoever he is) - that truck looks amazing!

It's mine, unfortunately this picture is just a photoshop rendering... for now;). Changes include wheels (FN BFDs), grill, and a few other minor things. Here is the way my truck currently sits, for comparison.

In the process of putting together an upgrade list, including coilovers, leaf pack, wheels, tires, etc... If/when I get it to the desired look, I'll definitely post some 'real' pics.

Thanks guys, glad you like it.

PuffDr4gon the customization is dope - definitely interested in getting some decals like that one day. My priority is to get the lift and all my other upgrades done first though.

Here's a couple pics of my 13' trd sprt dble cb. Have a long way to go - only have the tints done so far. Hopefully within a month I'll have a lot more done :D

Thanks! I plasti-dipped the wheels black and the overall look of the truck flows so much better now. I'll have to get a pic up.

But, I'm like you...I def want a lift and bigger tires. I decided to go the cosmetic route first so I had something pretty to stare at while saving up for the lift. Nice truck and good luck with it!

I'm in the hunt for a PM double cab to buy. You folks that have had yours for a while, do you still like the color? I have heard conflicting reports regarding dirt and scratches. What's your take?

Love the look though, just want to make sure I love it for a while as I plan on keeping whatever I get for a good long time. :)

Dirt doesn't really show up that well on it. I don't ever wash mine unless birds poop all over it. I don't have any big scratches, but paint chips are only noticeable when you're looking right at them. I wouldn't pick another color if I bought another truck tomorrow.

Still 100% happy with the color :D

Not as unique now as I see more hitting the road, but I've been the only pyrite at our taco meets so far.

Dirt kind of blends in, I don't have that many scratches yet but I could see how they would show a bit more. Very cool how with different lighting the color really changes though, sometime almost looking grey.

If i went with another one it would be the metallic grey, a buddy I work with has that color and its pretty dope. He has all the chrome accents though which IMO don't think go as well with the pyrite color.

Either way - its a great truck!!

I completely agree! I have never been happier with a color decision in my life. Every time I see my truck I think "Damn am I happy I chose pyrite!"

But yeah, more and more pyrites being sold. As far as I knew I had the only one in my home town, and now I have seen 3 others driving around, but nevertheless still a less common color to see.

Haven't been through much mud or anything with mine. Shows up on pyrite just like any other vehicle. Between washes when dirt accumulates all that really happens is the paint looks less glossy, otherwise dirt blends in quite well. I'm sure scratches would show up the same on this as any other vehicle. I had some light scratches in the door handle area and they blended in to the paint decently.
