    Oh nice! Lots of stuff to do around here. Some cool hikes in girdwood. And if for some reason you need to call 911 in girdwood, do it on Tuesday night. Thats when the entire fire department is in training ;)

    Exit glaicer is awesome. Cooper landing has some nice camping spots. Also good salmon fishing and some hiking.

    I'm with you on the weather we had almost a whole month with temps above 75 and I want that back. If the weather is decent I would hike the trail that takes you to the top of the mountain were you can see the whole glacier I'm looking for the trail name but it is about a 8 mile round trip it is one of the greatest views That i have seen

    You're a bit early for really good red salmon fishing in the Kenai, but a halibut or salmon charter out of Seward or homer would be really fun. There's a few good hikes in and around girdwood if you're up for that sort of thing. Are you staying at the resort in girdwood or did you guys rent a place?

    I don't know yet. I thought about maybe tackling it tonight? I've got fishing in homer this weekend, then next weekend whitewater rafting on 6mile in Hope. Then at least 2 more camping trips in August. So I still have a LOT of driving to do the extra hand DEFINITELY would be nice, just not sure when any mod days are planned. Hmmm

    I got one of those warnings too, but in the valley of all places. It's just a generic way of them to bust people for DUI or in girdwood's case Mary Jane lol. Any little reason to pull someone over.

    I didn't think either one of you were high enough to be illegal anyway? I got pulled over a couple times in my XJ I had last year but with 7.5" of lift and 36's it was pretty obvious lol they were all on base too

    Exactly. Once they knew I wasn't drunk or high they let me go.

    They said if your bumper is more than 14" off the ground you're required to have them. Last time I measure my tailgate was like 36" off the ground.. :rolleyes:

    I put mud flaps on and a few weeks later they got ripped off while playing around on some trails and I haven't had any for at least 2 years now
