The thing about that is, the 5100's are not designed to be used with other springs than the original OEM springs that come on the truck. I was informed that the shocks are not valved to be pared with another spring that has a higher lb. rate. In other words, if you put a spring that is longer that the stock OEM Spring, it has a higher lb. rate, and you use any other setting on the 5100 other than the lowest, it's supposedly no bueno.

not sure about that, I bought mine as the ultimate lift kit from toytec and that's the springs they put on them. like i said previously, they ride great, about the same comfort as stock while on road, but the offroad performance is a fair bit better. my personal needs have outgrown them unfortunately, so I'll be upgrading to some sort of extended travel remote resis as soon as i can afford it

Does anyone know who owns this truck?
I saw it parked at SBA a few days ago. It caught my eye and so I decided to drive up and take a closer look. It sits up higher than mine...and so I needed to know what he had as far as suspension.

Yeah, it's a company based out of Carpinteria called "Super Springs". I basically need to take that off & add a 3 Progressive Leaf AAL pack from Wheelers or just replace them all together. I'm trying to save money and am leaning towards a AAL instead. I want to maintain the ride height. any suggestions?
It is 4WD so, I have to be careful of how high I raise it...CV angles etc
