Good news chumps and chumpette's! I just got off the phone with my best friends mom who works at my local Toyota Dealership. I told her a while ago i was interested in the black baja wheels from the "rugged trail TRD edition". Well as it turns out they just sold a rugged trail but the dude didnt want the rims. so they took them off and have never been ridden on. she's selling them to me for $100 per rim! So i'm gonna call her up tomorrow and set up a time for me to come up and get them put on. Cant wait to get some pics up and get piercedidiot to update my sig :)

me and this dude have been best friends since we were around 6 or 7 and she just happens to work at the dealership i got my truck from. his sister also works there which is why i always get a car to drive for free when i drop my truck off. she has hooked me up multiple times. her manager told her to get rid of the rims and see what she can get for them. i may be able to get them for under 100 each but i'm not gonna push it since these are 150 less than what they retail for.

Those wheels are nasty anyway. I wouldn't pay $50 for all four of them!

nah, the steelies are done now. these will definately fit with no problem and have no problem holding the tmps so i'd rather have these. i just didnt want to pay 250 for them in the first place.

    whatever dude, you're just jealous

i think they will definately look more pimp on a sport or regular offroad anyways since they dont have the unfinished looking black flares.

oh, i got ya!! cool deal. wasnt sure if you were still gonna get a set of steelies for off roading or not. when you get these new baja wheels, you'll probably wanna polish and wax the hell out of them, then they will stay looking new.

You dick!!! you're suppose to be on my side!!!

i doubt it, i dont even polish or wax my truck to keep it looking new....

So here's an update. I called up my "contact" today to set up a time to get them mounted with my tires and turns out there's a scuff mark on one of them from being taken off. She told me that the scuff wasn't in the paint and can be buffed out. she gave me teh option of picking them up now, or waiting till one of the wheel guys can buff it out and make it look like new. so as much as i want to go ahead and get them put on this instant, looks like i have to wait until they get buffed. either way i'm definately getting them. i'm hoping to get them on today but more realistically i will have to wait till tomorrow. Damn it i want them now!!! i hate having to be patient!!!
