    Haha, I might have to pass on the charter, I'm not sure my wife would approve. This is sort of our honeymoon! She has friends that live up there and they're getting married this Saturday. We decided, if we're going to make the trip, we're going to stay for a while and enjoy it. We rented a place in Girdwood, I don't believe we're at the resort. Her friend set the whole thing up for us and got us a rental condo at a great price for the week.

    So, was looking over my new struts and aal set. Thinking ill do the ome 885s when I get paid next. I don't know much about coil overs. If the 885s give you around 1.75" of lift, if I set my 5100s at say 2" (or whatever the closest setting is without going the full 2.5) does that mean my front would be lifted at 3.75"?? Not sure if want to go so high if it means more adjustment/replacements in my suspension. Not to mention I'd then need to lift the rear more than just the 2" I'll get from the extra leaf so as to keep the same stance on the truck I have now. Am I understanding right?

    A height of 0" or 0.85" at the most is recommended for Bilsteins with new coilovers. If you want more than that, add the spacer pack.

    Hmmm.... So I'm potentially LOSING a little bit of lift in the front? I'm confused if they are "adjustable" up to 2.5, why have them adjustable that much if its not recommended?

    20% tint on all windows, Deckplate mod, satoshi-ish grille, blacked out and/or body matched emblems, rattle canned rims, red l.e.d. interior lights, bilstein 5100's and OME 881 coils , deaver 8 leaf pack, 1.5" lift shackle, alpine sound system, 55w HID lightforce 140 and 170 fogs
    The 5100 are adjustable up to 2.5" of lift but that's intended for the stock coils. The OME coils are longer than the stock ones so anything more than The 0 or .85 setting puts alot of stress on everything and just isn't smart. What I'd do is the the 5100s at .85 with the 885 coils and see how much lift you end up getting. It should be around 2.5-2.75". If you'd like to get a bit more theres a small spacer that is sold which can get you up to the full 3". It's not a big spacer, and it sit above the whole strut/coil assembly so it won't affect your ride either.

    OH! Ok. So he meant with the after market coils. Gotcha. I wonder how the ride would be at 2.5 with the stock coils. I could just do that until I decide when to get coils, right?

    It'd be a pretty rough ride and then you'd have to deal with getting coils put into the 5100s twice instead of just waiting to put the 5100s on until you have 885s. The OME coils will be much better than the stock ones.
