    i'm all for the late night campfire BS

    what's it looking like temperature wise for leg 1 and 2 at night?

    i can plan accordingly for the CO portion but i have no clue with WY and elevation. i'm packing a "just in case" bag anyways but am i going to be wishing i packed more hand warmers at some point?

    Low 40s possibly 30s

    But most likely around 40-50 with 60-70 day time up to 80

    Should be pretty nice but ya. Pack extra. Ya never know for sure.

    myself, Monte, and Lisa i think all have 2 man tents.

    i'm packing the sleeping bag and pillow in mine but thats about it.

    mine is plenty roomy for 2. if you plan on sleeping 3 regularly i would bump up in size but the MT shasta (the one monte has) has an enclosed annex room to sleep a couple more people if you wanted

    Me, Joey, Lisa, mike, Jason will all have the same sized tents. My dad has the bigger version.

    Yes I've slept 2 easily. Tons of room. The next size up it HUGE. Covers a full 6' bed width wise alone.

    I will be sleeping in the bed, under the topper. It will smell like gear oil and dog hair back there, but it is dry. I have great camping gear, but it is easier to not have to look for a flat spot. Might bring my backpacking tent just in case I wanna look up at stars one night

    im looking at a tepui kukeman wich is 56''x96'' sleeping area should be enough for two plus a dog i hope and fit on my rack
