I bought 5 of them a couple years ago. One still works, but the case is cracked and held together with "Goop". I use it as a reverse light. Waste of $500. Should have got a nice Murican made light bar.

Yup... My thoughts exactly. Glad they didn't shit the bed on me while I was driving the Alcan.

On the topic of lighting, I won that 10" LED bar from SeeLite, and finally got to talk to the owner, Josh.

Basically, its a Chinese import with (6) 5w CREEs in a Spot/Flood combo. 6000k spectrum, so it'll be really white, and close to 3k raw lumens, IP67 rated. It looks like the Hanma HML-B1030. I got the dimensions, and it will be too tall for the skewp, but it might fit in the grille (right under the Toyota emblem). I don't know if it will be worth the trouble to install it there....:notsure:

He's hoping to ship it out by the end of the week. He wanted to engrave it, or put some fancy Tacoma/TRD lettering on it or something. The details were kind of vague....

Does anyone know of a good place to have my sliders and bumper painted around PDX?

Also Avid offroad has 15% off their stuff with coupon SUMMER15. For some reason I am kinda into the read bumper guard they have.

Yea, the guy won't be back in town until Friday. Unless I get a better offer he'll probably have them. It will be set of recentered h1 beadlocks and some summer tires.

Yessir, Trail Worthy for the wheels. Haven't quite decided who I'm getting my tires through yet. Dad has several sets of the Hummer radials...may steal a set until I spring for some of the surplus MTR's.

I have about 25,000 miles on this set of goodyear radials. They ride like shit, are loud, but I haven't got a single flat with them. My last set of BFG's I blew the sidewalls out of all four plus two of the replacements in under a year, about 7000 miles. Keep in mind with the trailworthy's that they are really not good for a DD...I'm considering getting a regular set of wheels and tires for long range expedition stuff...Hey wanna trade some decent 36-37" tires and wheels for a set of beadlocks? Ready to roll...lol

Do any of you guys know of some wheeling trails in the wallowas or if there are a decent amount of forest service roads? The lady wants to do some backpacking/truck camping out there and I've never spent any time out there
