WHAT MODEL (STEALTH OR ULTIMATE) AND (1/2" NPT OR 3/4" INLET)
IF YOU WANT A QUICK DRAIN VALVE, QUICK DRAIN VALVE KIT OR NEITHER

    Very much appreciated :bowdown::bowdown::bowdown:

Stick around, we have all kinds of folks without tacomas, and plenty who have moved on to other manufacturers, but still hang out for the atmosphere.

We also have a 4runner subforum here

Id assume that the NPT catch can of either model would be perfect for the runner. Its easy to just buy 2 reducing barbs at miners/ace/home depot/lowes, and odds are ur PCV line is 3/8 like ours.

    http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/4runners/

Simply put....... If u have a PCV valve (you do), then ur engine is recycling the oil mist back into your intake manifold. Not the greatest for any vehicle.... Many people assume that the only reason manufacturers do not include oil catch cans is because people have enough trouble keeping up with regular maintenance. A catch can even VERY simple and low maintenance is 1 more thing to forget... When u think about tire blowouts due to low pressure, all the vehicles with non working lighting, all the sludge in gear boxes, etc .....its easy to see how some ppl would forget to take care of another item.

Well said brother........ I have 1 I got off ebay sitting on my table. They used a plastic line (not even a rigid one) for a sight tube. You wiggle it a tad and it leaks. The threads on the drain were rough. The thing has no filtering media at all. This is pathetic but......... They didnt even clean the inside out after drilling and tapping threads!!!! Theres shavings I had to blow out with my compressor in a BRAND NEW catch can.... Yeah, EBAY CANS ARE SH_T from what I have seen 1st hand.

42DD however was nice and clean inside, made in the USA with pride. The fit and finish reflects this. Speaking with my contact has been a piece of cake, and he has answered all questions without making me feel rushed, or like I had any dumb questions.

I am glad I bought the ebay can tho...... It was a learning experience, and from that financial mistake, it pushed me to find a superior (far superior) product and start this group buy.

    :)

 you must send me some pics of the GT-4!

    Thank you

Just a quick update on my catch can count: Looks like I've got 4 (me +3) now.

I'll email my full order closer to the end of the group buy. I gave the people on the other forum a July 26th deadline.

payments are starting to come in, so the four i've got so far should be definite. i'd buy two myself and bring the count to five if we could get the black finish through the group buy

    Sorry guys.

I've already paid for mine and considered the money a loss if this doesn't work out. Holding finishes as a deciding factor is only hurting your peers.

I've done lots of emailing, made plenty of phone calls, turned down certain vendors because they wanted me to handle your money and send it to them in 1 bulk payment instead of u all being able to hold a company accountable instead of a person u don't know. I've finagled discounts from 10% max to 20%.... I've cut the minimum orders down from 15 to 10..... I've got vendors personal cell phone numbers and both they and the manufacturer know me by first name since I've talked to them so much.

Plz don't put your peers in a position to pay more just because u don't want to take the parts to a powder coated or spray them yourselves.

I'm exhausted and had no idea how much work this was going to be trying to get you all the best prices, the most security, and the lowest buy in possible.

Again.... Ur only hurting your peers.... Mine is in hand and I already consider my full payment gone.. When u all get to the needed discount numbers I will get the same discount retroactively.
