Only weak spineless worms allow the beliefs of others to be forced on them. Anyone with half a spine remains unconvinced by others because they have freely chosen their own beliefs to live by.

You're absolutely right. Direct personal experience cannot be transferred to others. You can only seek it for yourself, never for others.

That's no big deal. In my family four generations coexist. :)

Evangelist: Some people would have you believe dinosaurs existed millions of years ago. It’s just not true! God created the Earth six thousand years ago. And I tell my kids: ‘You have to remember: dinosaurs and human beings lived on the Earth at the same time!’

    Tony: “What? Like the Flintstones?”

    Evangelist: It's in the Bible.

Christopher: T-Rex in the garden of eden? No Way. Adam and Eve would be runnin' all the time, scared shitless. The Bible says it was paradise.

A blessing is merely a good consequence which makes you happy because you chose to do what's morally right. :)

To anyone who loves goodness enough to actually do what's morally right, in time the Source of that goodness will reveal Itself to them.

"The person who has My commands and keeps them is the one who really loves Me; and whoever really loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I too will love him and will reveal Myself to him. I will let Myself be clearly seen by him and make Myself real to him."

This is God's promise to anyone who does what's right. :)

    Reality does.

The objective reality of the consequences of your own actions renders the final verdict on your life of whether or not you did what is morally right.

    1) secularism isn't a religion, nor is athieism, nor humanism
    2) this Country (the physical land) was founded on either the bedrock, or was founded by a diverse group of non christian people who lived here long before some guy had good ideas onm the other side of the world. The American (US) system of government was designed by people who had the forsite to not let one religion ruin the peace of the whole.
    3) I live in a state where religion has tried to be shoved down the throats of those who done think that way by the government, and its not just here but in the whole country and around the world. there is no difference, none between theocracies.

    again with a list....
    1) not all morally right things bring happiness. and smug does not equal happy
    2) goodness, is like evil, an abstract concept ment to allow a person to divide others into sides that adhear to thier own world views. as for yet another bible verse, quotes from a book are not logical argument or evidence. And yes, it's A book, not THE book.
    3) there is no final verdict in ones life. I asked when and by who? and you side stepped the question because saying what you believe doesn't support your argument and doesn't disprove mine.

I would love to live in a magic world where wishes are granted and justice prevails, but in the real world justice is the duty of all people and wishing doesn't create anything. And if I was going to live in a magic land I would pick one from a book that wasn't ruled over by a fickle, whiney, childish, and hateful being with all the magic giving it out to anyone who gets on their knees and begs for some.

So if you want to make headway, bible quotes do nothing, logical falicies do nothing, and side stepping the questions do nothing. You are not preaching to the choir and I'm not buying the old song and dance. Bring real verifiable proof or even a logical supportable theory to the table. Or don't, your choice.

Yes, it is. It is based on the belief that there is no God.

Our secular government operates properly only when people live by decent moral standards.

    Government=Secular
    America=Judeo/Christian moral values

"Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supports. It is impossible to rightly govern the world without God and the Bible."

    --George Washington ;)

    Two things.

First of all, evolutionary theory doesn't tell us that we evolved from apes. It accurately tells us that we share a common genetic ancestor from which all primates have evolved including apes, chimps and humans.

Secondly, where exactly have you been looking for the "go between" you say you've yet to find between man and ape? ..And why were you looking for it there?

That's because the actions that don't bring happiness you only ~think~ are moral. ;)

So true. As long as people fail to do what's right, by default smug will be their only "happiness".

The religion of Secularism is founded upon the belief that there is no difference between good and evil.

That belief also belongs to the religion of Secularism.

I had already stated this many times, but since you missed it:

The reality of the consequences of our own actions renders the final verdict on our life of whether or not we did what is morally right.

You're doing an excellent job of clearly describing the beliefs of your religion. It is a great help in clarifying the contrast between two totally irreconcilable views.

Because six billion years ago our solar system was nothing but a bunch of dust. When particulate began sticking together our sun began to form at the center, and a circumstellar disk started forming and spinning around our sun, caught in its gravity well

Eventually this circumstellar disk began containing smaller particulate; while 99% of it became our sun, bits and pieces formed our planets. The closer planets were exposed to the suns heat, forming our terrestrial planets. The farther planets were not exposed to as much heat so metals could not condense in atmosphere, forming the gas giants.

The planar disk you speak of is not just coincedence, its because of the spinning of the circumstellar disk during the formation of our sun

So you agree that human life span has been growing longer rather than lowering like many Creationists have stated? That the chance of having 300-900 year old humans is statistically impossible?

    Your assumption is flawed.

People with longevity stopped bearing children 40-60 years before they die. If they continued to bear children until they died at 100+ years I would imagine a trend toward longer living humans.

That is not what is going on.

blah blah blah. Look, Cody, all this was a part of non-secular conservative intelligent design, replete with wall-too-wall deep shag morality only avaible to those who believe. This is reality. Haven't you seen the repetitive light yet? :tinfoilhat:
