I have had my truck for 40,000kms now, 20,000kms of which i have been putting up with the squeal at the rear brakes at very low speeds and at the end of the stop. I came across T-SB-0236-12, the technical service bulletin to fix the issue, and apparently replace all of the rear brake components. I brought the truck and the TSB into the dealership here outside of Toronto and i was told " sorry thats a USA TSB...we can't use it"

Does that make sense? Are TSB's country specific ?

My truck was built in the same plant, whether i own it in Canada or the US, its still the same problem...

That number is USA specific , more than likely there is a Canadian number for the same procedure

I went through this with the '09 tranny reflash TSB

Is there any way you know of to check Canadian TSB's other than the dealership ?

All of the searching i do brings up US only sites...

Finally heard back from the dealership yesterday, there is a Canadian version of the TSB. They are replacing my rear brakes for me next week under the TSB / Warranty because i have less than 60,000kms.

Im not sure of the Canadian TSb #, when i get it next week i'll add it here for anyone else having the problem...

Please pass along the TSB# when you have it!

Both my Dad and I have the same issue on our trucks.

    Thanks!
