For the whole juicing concept, this won't really fit the bill since it's over-processed with junk to let it sit on a shelf forever.

Although the spicy is quite tasty... I'm sure a homemade version could be attempted.

You just read my mind. Some celery, tomatoes, carrots, and a dash of tobasco or similar could be pretty darn close plus you get all the benefits of fresh. I'm going to search out a recipe for homemade spicy V8 juice.

Yeah, he has one. I was joking more about how flat it was. I wish my yard was that flat.

    Found a couple!

    Here's one I found.

Here's the copy/paste from another one I found on a forum:

    "One of my absolute faves!

    3 carrots
    3 stalks Celery
    1 sweet green pepper
    1 red pepper
    1 yellow pepper
    1 cucumber
    1/2 beet
5 or more small ripe tomatoes
    1 clove garlic
2 or more hot green peppers like serrano or jalapeño
add cayenne or fresh horseradish to taste

When I switched from The Master Cleanse to juices at day 48 of my 60 day fast I could not get enough of this stuff. It really hit all the spots! Horseradish was the ticket for me at the time.

    Enjoy!"

These were basically the first two hits in a search so it looks like it will be pretty easy to whip up your own and stay away from the stuff that keeps for years on shelves at room temperature.

Yeah I have the Yakima quick attach towers. They are good. They should support just about anything.

BTW, I wanted to quote this post so others who read this were aware that Naked Juice just lost a class action lawsuit for claiming their juices were NON GMO when they in fact were not. Information here and the site to claim your portion will be live here once they start it. Just a heads up for anyone reading this.

Ha you going back for more? Looks good... now you just have to keep the dogs off of it for about 4 wks. and water it all the time especially in this heat.

Yeap noticed that when I went back and looked at it again. He is done. I've taken to this year following the GSD's around the yard with a watering can full of water to dilute their pee spots so they do not burn up what I have. It's grownin' great this year and I want to keep the momentum up.

Grass is way overrated. I am closing on my first house at the end of this month, and I am so happy we have a small-ish yard.

Damn that's crazy. I didn't even know Pepsi owns Naked. They did the same as Campbell's & paid out almost $3mil in CA to defeat GMO labels. (Side note....Kashi is fighting a similar lawsuit)

Odwalla is owned by Coke. $150 juicer isn't looking all that bad right now.

I would tend to agree with you especially with my waste of a front yard but in the back my 2 80lb.+ GSD's could not ask for more space to run, jump, and wrestle. They love it. So... I love it. :)

It's usually female dog's urine that is harmful to grass so if that helps you from following around fewer dogs with watering cans then there you go. :D

Exactly what I'm thinking. Did you see the link I posted to the one at Walmart for $50? It looks like the tests have it up with the $250-$300 juicers and some are saying it's either #2 or #3.
