    Well those places were definitely in a neighborhood which was kind of crazy. When ever I saw it on TV I thought it was in a much bigger area. Neither of those places would make it in a neighborhood like that where I am from in NY.

    I built a small medical trade school office and classroom outreach center in the Einstein Medical Center up there a few years back.

    Geno's was one of the places I made sure to make time to visit while I was in town :)

    Are the steaks still as good now as they were then? As in , AWESOME?

    For those of you in TX, they have recently been sending Shiner out of state, havent had one since 2010 when I visited and 1999 when I was stationed there. A friend of mine use to drop an Atomic Fireball in the bottle which was different.

    Here is a Hereford beef roast that I grilled 2 days ago. It was around 3 inches thick and weighed over 2 lb. I brought it up to room temp for about 3 hours and seared it over hot grill then turned the grill over to the wife to just flip and add some of the delicious fresh herbed butter. Well as I was leaving I told her to flip it and butter it down in like 6 to 8 minutes, well she didnt check on it until the 6 to 8 minute time and the grill was on fire. All of the inner parts of the grill must have broke down and the gas was burning all over the entire grill. She caught it in time, the outside of the steak was def charred but the meat wasnt ruined, just a little too well done for our tasting. The only loss was the grill and about 5 pieces of the siding to the house..... crazy!!!

    That was really delicious BTW, especially with the herbed butter.... so good!!!

    Made some grilled pizza... one of them was grilled chicken pesto and the other one was a tomato basil with pancetta. Both were good!!!!

    This is why my wife isn't allowed NEAR the grill, even when she was doing 90% of the cooking in our house years ago.

    She very nearly caught the back of our garage on fire in fairly similar fashion.

    I swear, some womenfolk just have an innate -20 INT vs grills.

    Yeah it looked so much bigger on TV. It was definitely small and crammed in a residential area. You don't get that feeling on TV that is for sure. We really just wanted to do it to say we did it.
