Odd question since this is geology, but does anyone know any modern day Indiana Jones? A male or female archaeologist who is under 40 and tearing up the world of archaeology? Whether the are internationally known or not is of no consequence. Am searching now, but I'm sure someone out there is MUCH more knowledgeable and up to date than me on these things...

Park supporters also weighed in. LaMoine Hill posted, “Some people need to have their heads fried, or maybe they already have, anyway people, use your heads.”
Brett Houston added, “Some people do not belong in the wild.”

IMHO, rangers should just shoot inferior specimens like this on site. They obviously have no respect for anyone or anything, and can't understand the simple consequences of their simple actions. GTFO of the gene pool.

    Ello Geologists!

Can anyone identify these rocks? We ordered 90%+ quality rates of pebble lime stone to be used in a water/lime slaking & crushing system. They are porous, dark to light grey. Ranging up to about an inch in size, some float, most don't. I'm assuming thats due to trapped air bubbles in the pores of the rocks.

The 3 grouped together were washed in water, the 2 on the other side were not.

Any clues? Would be a huge help!

The white specks on them are most likely from all the powdered & crushed lime stone they were mixed with.
