    I plan to get them on this weekend with the new rear springs, after an oil change.

    Debating if I ought to pull the sway bar beforehand

    lol, might be a good idea to see if you like how it drives. There is more body-roll around corners, and roundabouts can be "fun". I find I can't knee-drive on the freeway for long periods of time once I took it off.

    I did manage to weasel mine out of there with the skid in place, but it was a lot more effort than it needed to be.

    I took one off a Dodge, years ago. I felt I like it was a neutral factor, I didn't need it for onroad, nor did I need to take it off for what off roading I was doing. I think this time I'd fare better w/o it.
